Because of all the rocks it was very shallow near the edge

Payton is Queen of the rock and we all splashed her while she stood up there

Last Sunday we went to Pony Pasture Rapids Park on the James River, tons of people go here, it's very popular because you can wade out to very large flat rocks and spread out in the sun.  People also like to use floats and go down the rapids, I'm a totally scared of the river but it is very shallow on the edge and it was below 5 feet so it wasn't moving very fast.  We stayed where it didn't go above your ankles. It's crazy to watch everyone float down it in the tubes though out in the middle, it takes you quicker than you think it would so I was totally happy wading on the edge in the stagnant water :)  It was not too hot, not crowded, a pretty day to go.

We stayed a couple of hours and went and had lunch, everyone was so tired afterwards, we all came home and napped!

Milk

Reagan was drinking her milk in the car yesterday morning.  She says "Mommy, I'm going to drink my milk all up, it's going to go all the way down to my toes and help me grow big and strong." She then proceeds to show me her muscles with both arms "See, like this, I like when you do your arms like this when you're strong"

Payton cuteness

A couple of days ago Payton and I had a conversation like this:

Payton: Mommy, a little boy got his snout on the ball while we were playing outside

Me: His snout?

Payton: Yes, you know from your nose

Me: Oh, snot?

Payton: Yes, that’s what I said, it was yucky

Me: Did you tell Miss Anne the boy wiped his snot on the ball?

Payton: No Mommy, I just wiped it off with my dress

LOL, I had to laugh before I handed her back the hand sanitizer to clean her hands in the car!

Kindergarten

Payton is so excited about Kindergarten, she already has her backpack and lunch box and we have the supply list so she is counting down the days until we can buy the supplies and take them to school.  The other day she told me one thing she was very sad about when she thinks about going to Kindergarten, she's sad that she won't learn about Jesus anymore in Kindergarten.  How sweet, she has definitely paid attention and learned a lot. I am very thankful for her preschool!

Fast Kisses

At night before she goes to sleep Reagan has started wanting me to give her fast kisses, she points all over her head, neck, eyes, ears, cheeks everywhere and then makes me wait for her to say "on your mark, get set, go!" I always laugh when she says "on your mark, get set" Last night she says "on your mark, get set, laugh!" it cracked me up that she changed Go to Laugh because she knows I always laugh.  Tonight when she did it, I guess she was getting tired of showing me all the places she wanted them because she goes "ok, everywhere, on your mark, get set, go!"
She is so silly I love that girl!
