Easter Fun

The girls were super excited about Easter, they asked for days if it was time for the Easter Bunny to come yet.  The night before Reagan had been eating a piece of bread and had left it on the coffee table, after she went to sleep I threw it away, she was so excited the next morning that the Easter Bunny had eaten it!  She keeps talking about how the Easter Bunny ate her bread and I didn't tell her any different.
They came downstairs and brought back up the baskets and put them on our bed, they opened up the hollow chocolate bunnies and immediately had chocolate all over the bed!  Reagan of course ate as much candy as she could as quickly as possible, Payton loved the little gel pens in her basket.
Payton slid down the wet slide and flew off the end after she got the eggs off the fort at the top, she was cracking up!

After Church we went to Bryan Park and had a picnic lunch with Tung's Mom and Grandma, the azalea garden there is so beautiful, I love these pictures of the girls with all the pretty azalea's behind them.

Governor's Egg Hunt

We were able to go to the Governor's Egg Hunt this year at the Capitol.  It was a lot of fun.  They had a lot of activities for kids and of course egg hunting.  All the eggs had tootsie rolls inside, or stickers, we weren't lucky enough to get any prize eggs. It was crazy with everyone rushing for the eggs at once, Tung grabbed Payton and took off and I took Reagan, they had age groups timed out but after the Governor spoke he said "let the egg hunt begin" and everyone ran!  A Times Dispatch photographer took a lot of pictures of the girls and they ended up in a video they made and put on their website.

I think the Governor looks funny with all the mascots behind him.

I found one!  Then I had to tell her to just keep grabbing or she wasn't going to get anymore than that one!

Spring Dress

I found a dress on the blog Make It and Love It that I pinned a while back and have been wanting to make it for my girls, the Pinterest challenge was just the thing to get me to do it.

Here's the pinspiration

And here's my daughter modeling the completed dress.  I'm so excited about how it turned out and can't wait to make a matching one for my littlest.
The best pic I could get before she ran away from a bee!

Beach Getaway

Tryingto make a sand castle

Payton is trying to get Reagan to stand still, it was so windy!

Throwing sand, she threw sand for probably 10 minutes!

We had a lot of fun swimming in the pool and eating good food that is not good for you!  The pool was chilly but worth it for the girls, they were worn out, we all fell asleep while watching Ice Skating on tv. It was a fun weekend!

New Years Eve

For two years now we've gone bowling on New Years Eve, the girls think it's so fun and we do too since we never go bowling otherwise.  Reagan was into it a lot longer than Payton and wanted to pick up the 6 lb. ball herself and roll it down.  We came home and let them stay up until they crashed, Reagan made it until midnight with energy to spare, Payton crashed at 11:50 and there was no waking her up!  Reag was disappointed though that the ball drop wasn't more climactic, she thought it was going to smash apart everywhere!
